My first choice is mango fruit mochi, but they don’t have it. So I get the strawberry michi. It comes with a string and instructions on how to cut the mochi half using the string. It works! The strawberry mochi is very tasty!
I've been coming here since Hokkaido Ramen Santouka opened, when it completely outsold and destroyed the other soup and curry kiosk next door. It's located inside Mitsuwa Marketplace, immediately to the left as soon as you enter. When this place first opened it was one of the few Ramen spots that sold Tonkotsu Ramen in the Bay Area that wasn't an actual restaurant. I remember really long lines, like and hour plus wait sometimes. Forget about getting a seat in the communal seating area, that place was packed to the brim. A different story these days... To be fair it went down hill for a while...then got better again. It used to be really good when it first opened; the broths were delectable, full of flavor and the Pork was so tender, it just melted in your mouth. No, it's just OK. The competition in the Ramen Arena is on another level these days. Can't forget about the inflation factor as well... This used to be a good value. Now, it's just as expensive as eating in an actual Ramen restaurant, without the service. Ramen: ~ Spicy Miso B-Combo. 104. (S) Sake & Ikura Rice Bowl - 3.5/5 Still a good amount of food, even for a small. The broth was delicious, well balanced; full of flavor without being overly spicy.
Good but not exceptional ramen. The menu is extensive and the service is quick. However the broth is not as thick and flavorful as it used to be.
Better than Burger King.
Lots of food choices
Excellent mochi ice cream with a great variety!
Mochicream has a stand in Plano, TX at one point and decided to close shop. It was a very sad day to see it go. They had the best mochi ever! Their mochi is flown over from Japan and arrives frozen. Once you thaw it, you get this very soft, delicate texture that's rich and creamy. The most popular one is double mango. It's sold out on the weekends so it's best to order a lot if you are a fan of mango. Other flavor that are a hit, cafe au lait, black sesame, blueberry and azuki. Don't let the price deter you from trying the most amazing mochi.
Best mochi in Bay Area! You have to keep it in room temperature for 20 mins to get the best texture. Highly recommended!
The mochi creams are amazing. They thaw like they are fresh and so soft mochi dough. There is very good flavor of the filling without being overly sweet. $2-3 each which I think is a little pricey but worth the treat splurge and great quality that is hard to come by in the bay.
Best mochi you can buy.

Black. Sesame. Mochi. Just amazing and it’s hard to find but they have it here and it’s good. That may be due to the small amount of cream added to the sesame paste... The texture of the mochi is spot—It’s like a little food poem. Go here and then go back again for more.
I love all of the flavors. My personal favorite is the chocolate mochi. They come frozen, so let them defrost for a tiny bit before eating. Delicious!
It's good but not great. I personally find the cream inside the matcha one too heavy. The red bean one was great.
Yummy mochi. A little bit expensive.
Great mochi! Definitely better than eating it from a box. It's inside the Mitsuwa market.
