I can say that this area is the best. Try to experience it all.
Paik’s Noodle is definitely one of the better spots in the area for jjajangmyeon. The noodles and black bean sauce were really good, and I especially liked their spicy jjajangmyeon. It actually had a decent kick to it without overpowering the flavor.
We also tried the tangsuyuk. It’s definitely on the chewier side, but there’s a decent amount of meat in each piece and it went really well with the noodles.

DELICIOUS! This Paik is way more delicious than Santa Clara location!!! Highly recommended! Different ownership and the customer service is A+++

Paik's Noodle in San Jose is a loud, warm, and deeply comforting Korean-Chinese restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Popular dishes include the jajangmyeon, which is a favorite, and the jjamppong, which arrives bubbling hot, rich, and savory, especially amazing on a rainy day. The tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) is unforgettable—golden, crispy, chewy, tender, and addictive with its glossy sauce. Portions are generous and easy to share, with food coming out quickly and warm. The staff are very friendly, welcoming, and provide excellent service. The restaurant is clean and very kid-friendly. Many customers state they will definitely come back and highly recommend this place.
