Pupusería La Chalateca Reviews
This is a little hidden gem. We come here for the pupusa plates, and I can honestly say they are fantastic. We’ve gotten almost all of them on the menu at this time, and my partner and I can’t decide which one we like most
The staff has always been beyond gracious to us when we come through and recognized us after our third time coming.
The drinks are great too.
Honestly, no misses here, love this spot :)

Great pupusas and sauce. Coffee has Mexican cinnamon! Loud, but nice, music. I would gladly return
Great pupusas and other Salvadorian food! There's friendly service too.

Pupusería La Chalateca serves big and spectacular pupusas like chicharron y queso and hongos y queso. The cheese pupusa has perfectly caramelized dark spots of cheese, while the chicharron pupusa has a slightly sour taste but remains enjoyable. The freshly made pupusas are not greasy and worth the 10-15 minute wait. It is a small place but has huge flavors. The casual atmosphere and friendly service make it a favorite Salvadoran spot in the area for delicious pupusas, breakfast, and dinner. Customers have praised the Michelada’s as delicious and satisfying, and the Diablo shrimp with the fabulous green sauce is also a highlight. The staff is very nice, and there is a large array of drinks and beer available.
