The ROK is an experience. You cook your own steak on a volcanic rock heated to over 700 degrees. The chimichurri sauce was great, but the mushroom wine sauce was excellent. We visited twice over our 3 day stay. Order the Hanger if you want to eat like royalty on a pauper budget.
The steak was not bad. The service was fantastic and it had a good atmosphere. I didn’t do the hot stone for cooking the meat. I just had the kitchen cook the steak. Overall, I would say the steak
My old running pals..Vito Branzini and Evo Clemente were being held over on a flight back to New York, and wanted to hook up and go over the New Jersey Incident once again before the indictment, so that's what brought me to San Jose!
