A sub brand inside Fugetsu. They make all the rice balls and some bento.

Rice balls are good.. but they're missing the seaweed wrapper for some reason (compared to every other place including Clover Bakery next door) and the price is higher in exchange for more/better fillings.

Just ate the tonkatsu roll. Amazing. $5 well spent lol.

The greatest onigiri (Japanese rice ball) spot of all time! I tried the spicy salmon and mackerel. I prefer the mackerel, but they’re both delicious. Even if I refrigerate a rice ball for 2 days, the rice is still soft enough to eat without reheating. Amazing!

While waiting in line to get into Mitsuwa market, I decided to split off an explore this new Fugetsu location. Unlike the Santa Clara location, this was more like a market with display caves filled with entrees, desserts and drinks. I liked the unusual concept and it was a upside for this shopping center. COVID-19 precautions were well addressed with all employees masked, hand sanitizer dispenser positioned at the entrance and a one way aisle throughout the entire market. Fugetsu’s well known okinomiyakis were precooked and packaged along with other items such as chicken karage. The fresh ones were at the front and towards the back was a small table with the hot versions (in case one was too hungry to wait). A partnership with Shalala bakery added to the food mix with their unique onigiris and Kimbap rolls. Cold drinks, small toys and other packaged food rounded out their offerings. The kitchen was in full view behind ceiling high glass windows. Everything is self serve and payment accepted at the exit for everything in your basket. Worth a stop.
