Another well loved and highly recommended family owned business. To call it just a sandwich shop would be an understatement. There are stunningly beautiful paintings decorating the entire interior of the building with little trinkets, newspaper clippings and signs with funny quips hung in the empty gaps. The paintings are all done by the owner, Barbara, who continues to work in the shop daily. The sandwich’s are numbered on the wall each with mayo, lettuce, cheese and their special house made spread. The sourdough alone is a work of art. The softest tangiest most delectable bread I’ve ever tasted, Boudins and Sourdough & Co. can’t even compare. You can dine indoors and enjoy the rich history of Barbara’s life via pictures and newspaper clippings. Or take in the quintessential garden decor in the terrace with the occasional bodega cat to entertain you.Definitely recommend the spicy turkey and the potato salad.

Quaint and quirky little lovely sandwich shop. Their sourdough is fresh, backed on site. They have a large selection of meat cuts and sandwich styles. And, conveniently for « hangry » jurors, just a few steps from the Santa Clara Hall of Justice.

Absolutely amazing sandwich shop. We used to come here when I was in college at SJSU and the sandwiches are still the best. And the same gal is working the cash-only register. The bread is crazy fresh and the ingredients are top notch. Love the #3 - turkey and Swiss, but I disturbed Swiss for cheddar. Divine! The restaurant itself is really cute and just screams nostalgia. Highly recommend!

Best sandwich is San Jose! One of the coolest experiences you'll ever get at a deli! Extremely nice owner as well!

A San Jose institution! Tons of well-shaded patio seating, making it a great place for lunch on a sunny day. Their fresh baked sourdough is amazing. The peppered turkey sandwich is popular (and delicious), but everything here is good. Only open for lunch on weekdays and no on-site parking, but you can usually find a metered spot down the street.
