This is the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. They are more generous on salt than the food itself because the food is too salty and the portion is so little. On top of how bad the food tastes, they charge a lot extra to customize an order. The wait time was long although nobody was in the restaurant, and they messed up. Not recommended at all.

I had a very unpleasant experience today. After taking a few bites of my quesadilla, I found a cockroach inside the food. I notified the staff immediately and have already filed a complaint with the Health Department. This raises serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety 🤮🤮

Second Time Coming to this Place first time was a 4 star experience this second time is one star Burrito was super cold, uncooked tortilla rice meat beans super cold, coment from staff that it was cold because salsa guac and sourcream but this is not an excuse, meat was super cold and not tasty.

First and last time going here, this place is a JOKE. 25 bucks for a 2 taco combo plate with rice and beans and chips and salsa. The meat was just OK. The salsa is pretty mediocre and flavorless. I was given an incredibly small portion of rice, and some very watery, cold, refried beans. Overall disappointing, I wouldn’t even pay 15 bucks for this meal. I feel totally robbed. Next time I’ll make it at home. 0/5 stars.

October 21, 2025 at approximately 7:45pm almost closing. I should have known, if cleaning up, not to order. In all the 30 years in the Almaden Valley, I've come here twice before, and third time is a charm. I ordered a simple vegetarian taco salad, and lady at register relayed to me that it would be the best option ... so to my surprise lol!!! It consisted of the shell, iceberg lettuce, rice and sour cream.. NO BEANS, NO CHEESE, NO GUAC, NOT EVEN TOMATOES!!!! I called right away, and luckily the lady answered. I explained the pathetic taco salad and asked if they would make it right tomorrow. She wanted me to come back in and get the beans tonight OMG! I left home and drove out to get a refund, the cook was there and no clue or care what so ever! ...STEER CLEAR ALMADEN... I drove to Mojitos and got a delicious veggie burrito for the same price including tip.
Love it, fresh clean authentic taste! We DoorDash often!

Got delivery through GrubHub. Won't bother again. The super burrito with pollo asada was made with ground chicken and not much of it. The large guacamole was neither large nor guacamole, it was a modest container of salsa Verde, no avocado in sight, probably made with chayote. The pastor plate was okay, a little on the dry side.

As good as the food was, I'd avoid this place and go elsewhere as you can get better for way less. I was charged $30 for 4 small regular tacos and a toddlers handful of rice and beans. I was unaware of the price, otherwise I would've walked out. I will be disputing this with my bank.
