Food was fine. But the prices for a food truck were ridiculous. Theyโre charging like itโs fine dining. Itโs a truck!

I normally don't leave any negative reviews, but I feel compelled to write this.
I stopped by this Mexican place and purchased a carne asada burrito to-go. I asked for a cup of water (tap water) and was declined the water.
The burrito was poorly & barely wrapped. It kept opening wide and falling apart as I was eating it.
I was just very surprised that they refused to give me a cup of water with the meal. I'm not sure if this is a new trend or not, but I found it very odd.
Usually busy so finding a parking spot alone is hard to get but anything you order is good you can't miss even if you tried it's well worth the wait

The worst tacos Iโve ever had
You can build your own vegetarian burrito if you'd like, I built mine with rice beans cilantro and onions and it was excellent.

Ordered a party pack #1 and a gallon of jamaica agua fresca to go after a road trip so we could eat at a nearby park.
Despite spending over $140 I was told that if I wanted plates and cups I had to buy them and that they would probably be less expensive next door at their convenience store (how convenientโฆlol) (I only needed 4 of each).
I went to a nearby restaurant and asked for some plates and cups where I was gladly given them without question.
Food wasnโt that good either. El pastor looked like chorizo.

I got the chicken burrito and my husband got a carne asada quesadilla. They tasted so good and the portion size was great. I had to wait in three different lines though one for food one for sodas and one for desserts. The pan Dulce was very good and made it back on Amtrak without crumbling. Someone suggested this as somewhere to go when visiting the mission or the petting zoo. Definitely worth the 5-minute walk out of the bougie area and the regular people area that's affordable.

I used to live in the area about 20 years ago, and this place was known for having really good food. I hadnโt been back in a long time until last Saturday, and I honestly wish I had kept it that way.
We ordered 2 burritos, 3 tacos, and 4 drinksโ$84 total. I didnโt mind paying that because I remembered the food being worth it. Unfortunately, it was anything but. The quality has gone way downhill. The food was disappointing across the board.
To make matters worse, two of us ended up getting sick later that night. We both spent hours in the bathroom with what was clearly food poisoning.
Very disappointing experience all around. Between the high prices, poor food quality, and getting sick afterward, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.
