Way overpriced. Burger fries and a shake almost $25. The food was ok. Fries were hot. Burger had almost no flavor. Shake was thin.

After having a very nice lunch at a local Hispanic eatery, we stopped here at Foster, Freez, a barrier nostalgic spot. Needless to say after asking for a Oreo, cheesecake twister, not only do you not get a clear plastic cup, but you do not get the ingredients that you see on the poster. I was handed a cup of what appeared to be an ice cream or milkshake with one single Oreo cookie when I asked for it to look like the picture that I took a picture of with my cell phone, she proceeded to break up the single cookie that I showed her the picture again and showed the different color type of toppings that were on it so she took it back again, and they seemed very upset to give me the actual pieces of cheesecake on top, which look like what I presented below. One hamburger will run you $10 a meal will be $15.67. The inside of the store smells like old oil and uncleaned floors. I would not recommend buying food out of there unless you just want a corndog cooked and hot grease so you know the bacteria is cooked away

I here to get a few nostalgic items and it was not the same as they were before. I got the ice cream cone and old fashioned meal (cheeseburger, fries and drink). Service was quick and friendly. There were two workers when I stopped by. You can order inside or outside at the window. I sat outside to eat my order as the inside smelled like gasoline for some reason. Ice cream was not as tasty as I remember and the burger tasted like a Burger King burger. I wish they have more old fashioned diner joints come back! I miss the taste.

First review of the new year 2024 Keeping this short . I haven't been to foster freeze in ages ! I love their food . But for some reason I decided to get something I've never had from them . Fish and chips . I should of just stuck with a burger lol . Fish combo only comes with 3 pieces of fish and fries you can get in the freezer section with a drink . And it came up to 18$ it was not worth it . The fish was greasy and nasty . Fries was the only enjoyable thing . Oh and to top it off I grabbed some ketchup packets for my meal and they were all clumped together in food residue . Gross . Seating area is small and outdated but it's supposed to be old school feel . The workers were nice . I'll have to give them a better review on another day but for today . I'm not a happy customer and I won't be ordering the fish and chips again ! Stick to what you know !

mannnn i went to get a strawberry twister and there was a fricking paper towel in the bottom of my fricking cup wtf is that bs i need financial compensation!!!!!

Baby & I were hungry as I usually start all my reviews cause food is LOVE. We were in the area and I had to pee and we both remembered this place, they do have a bathroom on the side of the building and surprisingly it's super clean! At least the day I used it, it was. Smelled like cleaning supplies too. So that was a plus! You can order outside at the window or inside. They have both indoor & outdoor seating. Service was friendly and prompt. My baby got a double cheeseburger with a butterfinger twister & I got the chicken sandwich with a coke. Food wasn't hella flavorful but just right for what we expected. It was fresh & hot. We decided to eat there, inside. Wish I woulda got the chocolate dipped ice cream cone.. next time! I'd be back and recommend to anyone.

You’ll be paying Six Flags/Great America Prices for overly salty soggy food. Service is alright, but the food is for sure not worth it. Could get the same quality if not better at the Jack in Box down the street. Tables had stains and for how slow it was on a Wednesday afternoon, you’d think that with their pricing they would keep up with cleanliness. I would only go here for the Ice cream, but even then, you could get an entire tub and cookies from the grocery store for the prices they charge. Completely not worth the money in any aspect whether it be service or quality.

Typical cheap owners who "nickle and dime" you for everything. For example, they charge for ranch and use OLD oil to fry food. The oil they use must be changed once a week because the fries have a very bad after taste. We visited 1 hr after the place open. Clearly they used oil from the prior days. I understand inflation but I also under quality. If you want to be "cheap" raise your prices so that you can afford to change your oil. It should be common sense to change the fry oil throughout the day. I guess it's true, common sense isn't common. No bueno. I'm never going back not even for the ice cream.
