This is one of the few places I've been to that offers herbal soups the way my grandma used to make them. It seems to be a family owned and run business with great customer service.

This restaurant provides awesome service and yummy food. One of the best place around here. The food served quick and the rates were affordable. I recommend this place.

I just can't finish mine foods, Everything so bad, sushi is cold , Chinese food with so many oils, when it should be dry. Things are super expensive, was hoping for some great quality food. Never order again, hopefully I don't get stomach

This used to be Sushi Avenue. There's a small parking lot attached on the side, but there isn't really any lines so you kind of have to create your own parking spot and hope no one blocks you in. I came here a few months ago and I was hoping that I can still get some decent sushi from this new spot. Everything's very similar if not the same from the exterior to the interior. The menu/food has changed, they serve what they call Asian Fusion but I've yet to see any Asian Fusion dishes/foods. They've a variety of Asian foods, but nothing really considered Asian Fusion. I came here specifically for sushi and found out that they've maybe about 6 sushi choices. I know they're not specializing in sushi but they don't even have a simple salmon roll. When I asked the waitress about a salmon roll, I was hoping that they can make a custom order since there's technically a salmon roll portion in the rainbow roll, so it shouldn't be too difficult? The waitress wasn't that helpful, she seemed confused/impatient and she kept pointing at the lion king and rainbow roll in the menu, so I guess she was hoping that I would change my mind and order one of those rolls?

The first time I visited, I ate sushi, as it was a Japanese restaurant. I took my daughter recently then quickly realized that it had changed ownership, but decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was still nice and the staff were friendly. The menu had a lot of variety and the food was good.

Ambience is perfect and well maintained. I had different combinations of sushi’s and BBQs it tasted subtle for me.

No thanks. I read another review that this place isn't for sushi as I was waiting for my chirashi order. It really isn't. The miso soup that came with my food had uncooked, raw mushrooms. The edmame colors were not fresh. The hamachi sashimi was a few days old as I could taste the fishy-ness. My husband ordered the Mongolian beef, and that was the only adequate part of our dinner. We ordered chicken wings to share and it looked like a ramen sauce packet, with pepper and teriyaki sauce was served on top. It was really salty. Not coming back.

It is not as good as Oakland one. The food was cold and not well cooked. Soups were so so. My husband and I will never go back there. Too disappointed.

The interior is nicely decorated. Hainan Chicken rice was meaty and delicious - which is not easy at all with poached chicken. The pepper & salt tofu was crispy and on point. The best experience so far had to be the special herbal soup (#2) and steamed papaya peach gum desert (#2). Must try! If you have to come here, of course you have to order Chinese dishes. Xiao Long Bao was the only disappointment.

I went to this place and I saw an asian girl (one of the workers) YELLING across the restaurant to another worker (a guy) who was eating to go clean the tables. As a customer I find it unpleasant to experience this specially because the girl could've just go and talk to the guy instead of yelling and getting the attention of the customers who were there. I see this as bad customer service because of the environment it puts customers in and really bad treatment of workers with abusive coworkers.

Solid 3.5 stars! My family arrived at around 5:30PM on Friday because we've seen quite a few commercials advertising this place. There were plenty of parking when we arrived, but I can see it getting crowded and tight. In terms of food, we got the B-meal which consisted of soup of the day and lotus leaf with rice and unagi/eel (extra $2 for the eel). However, the rice to eel ratio was off. There as a lot more rice than eel and the rice didn't have any flavor without the eel. Otherwise, the eel was standard. However i didn't feel that it was worth the extra $2. The overall dish was just standard. As for the soup, it was a chicken and herb broth. It definitely tasted herbal, but wasn't too strong. It's not necessarily my favorite, but it did taste healthy. We also got the G-meal. It consisted of half a chicken and 2 bowls of noodle soup for two people. It's a very simple dish, but I am a fan of simplicity. The broth is very comforting and soothing on a cold day. It's not too salty either, so I could enjoy the broth. The noodles itself was standard but when paired with chicken and the broth, it was enjoyable. The service was good! My tea cup was always filled! Overall, the Chinese food offered here is quite standard and a little bit pricy. Perhaps the next time I come, I'll try their Japanese food.

I went to this restaurant for a quick bite. When I looked at the menu, I am surprised with the variety of dishes they offer. Since I am more of a Japanese food person, I ordered a tempura and a chirashi bowl. I like the tempura because its very crunchy and fresh when it got brought to my table. The portion of the chirashi bowl is good enough for a girl, and the fish is pretty fresh. I would recommend this place if you want a quick Japanese bite.

I give this place a try when I was looking for food in a Saturday night. When I get into the restaurant, it gives me some kind of fusion style restaurant, and this confirms my feeling when I check on the menu. Not knowing what to order, I ordered the Garlic Seafood Grilled Vegetables and a Thai Pineapple Fried Rice. To my surprise, the garlic seafood grilled vegetables tastes pretty good with pretty good portion on seafood. Sometimes when you order anything with seafood with veggies, restaurants will give you a lot of veggies with a small amount of seafood. The pineapple fried rice is awesome as its not too dry or wet. If you ask me to pick one to recommend, I would definitely pick the garlic seafood grilled vegetables as I am a fan of garlic.

I've always heard of this place but I never actually stopped by until today. My cousins and I decided to try it out based my friends' recommendation! The guy working behind the counter was really nice and patient with us as we stood confused at the menu. :) With the many different types of food preferences, I find that the soup and beef are as good as the one in Oakland. If you're in the mood for good soup, then come here. Never disappoints.

From the first moment you come to that restaurant the personel give you an agreeable feeling. Very comfortable stuff, it is a kind restaurant to go out with buddies or with your date. yummy cooking, professional chief cook and stuff, modest cost and generous service. Warmly recommended.
