198 Food & Beer is a fantastic place for all lovers of good food and craft beer. The atmosphere is modern and cozy, while the staff is friendly and always ready to recommend house specialties or quality brews. The menu is diverse and well-designed, offering excellent flavors at fair prices. Perfect for socializing and relaxing.
This place is right off the highway - you can't see it until you turn onto the road it's on, and it doesn't look like much. However, the service is quick and the food is delicious. We had fresh-made tortillas with our three tacos: al pastor, carne asada, and pollo, and I would have happily eaten twice as many. My children got a quesadilla and a Jarritos. The entire stop was maybe 20 minutes and we were back on our way, feeling satisfied.
This spot is gonna get busy this summer. Stopped in on a road trip and basically will be stopping by when in the area for the rest of my life. I didn't even take a picture of the best quesadilla I've ever had, no conversation was had as we all ate, no photos, just really good food. They should put a couple tables outside, but it might be too windy.
