“We stopped here based on other reviews when we searched for places on our route. We were a little unsure when we pulled up but we are so glad that we went in. The burritos were amazing and very reasonably priced, it was all homemade to order and we could customise it however we wanted. The staff were lovely and forgave us for our complete lack of Spanish. The toilet was clean too making it a great little pitstop.”

“Drove 5 hours to get here! It was so worth it! On our way from LA to San Fran to attend a wedding, decided to stop here for lunch and so glad we did! First of all, the owner and server were both such super nice, personable, and awesome people! I was ready to love this place even if the food was mediocre, but it was far from that! Everything was delicious and came out so perfect! Even the plating was impeccable! If Gordon Ramsay came to this restaurant, I think he would love it! If you're a savory person like me, I can't recommend the country fried steak enough! If you're a sweet person like my wife, you won't regret getting the Priou's Signature, which is a deep-fried French toast! I kept stealing bites from my wife. It was so good! I never wanna eat French toast again any other way! If you're anywhere near King City, you have to try this place! Made my wife and me look at housing in this area to see if we wanna move here, haha!”

“Friendly and bright small cafe right in the heart of King City and a short two minute walk from the EVGo chargers off Broadway. We enjoyed the Sencilla (caramel and vanilla latte), chai, and some fruit smoothies) -- each was a hit. The blueberry scones weren't overly sweet (a huge plus) and the muffins were a perfect quick bite for the kids.”

“Fantastic burritos. Homemade tortilla with authentic rice and beans. Fresh ingredients. I had Carnitas - which the meat was perfect blend of tender and mild crisp. Husband has the chile verde pork and loved it. Served with fresh green salsa. Next time will try their baked goods. They were literally rolling them fresh from the oven. Jamaica was spot on! We were traveling through- easy access on/off freeway. Absolutely delicious. Will become a must stop every time we are in the area.”

“During our return trip from Paso Robles, we decided to stop for lunch at Cork & Plough. Our group consisted of both adults and children. The restaurant was very accommodating, managing to fulfill various specific requests from our party with considerable patience. The atmosphere of Cork & Plough is slightly different than your typical dinner, and the menu reflects that vibe. We were pleased with the portion sizes and the freshness of the food. While nothing was extraordinarily exceptional, everything was satisfactory. The skirt steak sandwich and the salmon pasta got good feedback from the tea The ravioli serving was quite generous. Overall, Cork & Plough proved to be a delightful choice for a lunch stop.”

“Amazing food and worth the stop in Gonzales when traveling down the road. Fresh made tortillas off the charts. We got one order of quesobirria $20 and it was huge with 4 tacos. We actually made two meals out of it. The cheesey meat filled tortillas and the dipping sauce was the best Ive ever had. There were several other offerings on the menu like the stuffed baked potato that I'm looking forward to trying.”

“I love coming to El Lugarcito. Whenever I’m passing through King City it’s a must stop. I LOVE how it’s a family run business. I saw a review about a baby in the restaurant, yes he’s the next generation. I remember fondly growing up local restaurants playing with the owner’s kids. The food, INCREDIBLE. My favorite are the carne asada plate, Diablo shrimp, and garlic shrimp. And it is FAST. Like wow is it fast. Great service, love the food, it feels like family.”

“Great place for a pit stop at the halfway point of my long motorcycle ride. I got the carnitas plate which was a ton of food. I ate 2/3 and was full to the max. Carnitas was super tasty. Will be coming back on my way through in the future.”

“A wonderful experience. Excellent costumer service. Bloom Coffee Shop is situated in a 1940's Historic Building on Broadway st. Decorated in French, Antique and Elegant Style. Coffee, Tea, Boba and beautiful dessert are served in real China if eaten there. I had a Waffle & Berries with The Queen Pink Late. While enjoying my goodies I could see how popular Boba Drinks are. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED.”

“Stopped in on a Thursday to this sweet little dive while in route to Oregon & this was definitely what I was looking for. This place keeps some early hours, it closed at 11pm but stayed open an extra hr. Myself and the owner Richard chatted up for a good bit about the bar history & the monthly ribeye special while his sister was pouring the drinks, just a really down to earth type of experience. No frills in this place but if you enjoy a solid cocktail & few local drafts at a cash only dive, with some interesting characters then stop by, you’ll be glad you did. Cheers”

“Worth getting off the 101! Traveling back to San Jose we stopped in King City and found this restaurant. First, the service was great. The young man behind the counter patiently answered our questions and willing offered recommendations. The food was amazing and prepared fresh. They also had real Coke with sugar not HFC. Well worth the stop.”

We saw some beautiful places all the way long, we stopped at King City, Ca . We decided to eat at El Sinaloense Restaurant , It was crowded and you know where there a lot a people food is good. I ordered cheese Chile relleno and a chicken hard taco with rice and beans flavor was good my cousin ordered Carne asada plate he said was good too. Very good experience so far. Time to go to Salinas, Ca to pick up my car stuff.”

“No frills Mexican restaurant serving localsin King City. This is not a fancy place but service was great and food was good with adequate portions and reasonably priced by today's standards (Dec 2023). Unfortunately, nothing is cheap anymore, even in back country towns.”

“Best Sushi in King City! Although the only place that sells sushi, their interpretation is very Mexican. Only seafood they have is shrimp but the uniqueness of including steak and chicken with the familiarity of cucumber, seaweed paper, and dipping sauces really hit the spot. Classic Mexican dishes including what they’re known for: Huaraches are tasty. They also make a fresh Mango Margarita and strong drinks.Parking: Couple spots in the front but downtown has a lot of street parking too.”

From the outside it looks like nothing much but the tortillas are so delicious handmade and flavorful like melt in your mouth. The rice, beans and carne asada delicious. These are my favorite burritos no other place compares. If you are traveling north this is a must to stop at.”
