Buen Dia Coffee is a cozy, colorful gem in downtown SLO with a fun design and good vibes. The staff is truly lovely, super friendly, welcoming, and fun to talk to, creating a positive environment. The cafe is filled with awesome art everywhere, and they also sell cards, art, and their own apparel. There is plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor, and they have Uno on some of the tables.
The coffee is delicious. Standout drinks include the phenomenal cold fashioned, the lovely Bon Bon, and the hot Abuela's Coffee which has a great spice. The matcha is impressive, probably the best in SLO, and they double the amount of matcha when you size up. Other noted drinks are the cold brew, the perfectly delicious matcha gracias, and americanos. The menu can be a little confusing, however, with sizes that aren't uniform and a curious sweetening policy where baristas won't sweeten a buen dia despite simple syrup being on the counter.
