An absolute gem! Visited SLO for the week and came here for dinner. Delicious fish tacos and great service (including a friendly and talented chef) alongside remarkable views and chill vibe. All at a great price! Highly recommend coming here!
I love food. I think about food all day and I think that Marcerro has the best food in SLO. The food is interesting, flavorful, and sooo tasty! I’ve had a few different things from the menu and each time out does the last. Whoever is back there knows what their doing!

Marcerro is a restaurant in San Luis Obispo, located on the beautiful Dairy Creek Golf Course. It offers fresh coastal cooking, a newly updated experience, and breathtaking views during sunset. The restaurant has a chill vibe and remarkable views, with happy hour deals until 7pm on weekdays. It is a great space to go with little kids who can run around without causing any problems.
The food at Marcerro is interesting, flavorful, and sooo tasty. The menu includes delicious fish tacos, crispy chicken wings with three choices of flavors, pan seared scallops, steak frites, Cheeseburger, Breakfast Burrito, and wonton nachos. The wings are juicy, lip smacking good and full of delicious flavors. The pan seared scallops are cooked to perfection, while giving a tender succulent taste of the sea in every bite. The 8 oz. NY steak is juicy and served with a pink peppercorn Demi, black garlic aioli and well seasoned house fries. The Cheeseburger and the Breakfast Burrito are tremendous. The fries that come with it are great too. The service is great, including a friendly and talented chef. The head chef came out himself to talk to a guest with an allergy and was really personable and great. Overall, Marcerro is one to add to your list of restaurants to try.
