I love Colonial Kitchen. Been going there for years. I went last weekend and tried the Chilaquiles. The chilaquiles were fine, except for the sides: hashbrowns and lettuce with pico de gallo on top. Although I understand that not everyone likes refried beans, patrons should be given the option of either a side of beans or hashbrowns. Lettuce is definitely not an acceptable side for chilaquiles.

My wife and I had always passed by this spot and always wanted to try it and it was worth it. We’re definitely coming back to try more dishes. Their brisket sandwich was very good and had a lot of flavor

This restaurant in Sam Marino, has a warm atmosphere that from the outside says to the customer, welcome to a classical homelike feeling restaurant. The interior is comfortable as well. The servers were attentive and welcoming, checking on us regularly. The food was not quite what I was expecting, I ordered breakfast and my friend a lunch meal. Food was presentable, but something in the flavor was lacking. After my visit, I heard from friends that the ownership had changed...
