This is an adorable little spot off the beaten path on a cute little tree lined street in San Marino. The cafe side serves coffee, tea and breakfast and lunch items and the other side is a small specialty market with premade sandwiches, salads and other goodies. Julienne is an opulent local cafe and pastry shop tucked in one of the prettiest neighborhoods in LA County. And one of the oldest cafe business in the area.

This cute little cafe has small outdoor patio, with a French setting. Thus, a very popular breakfast spot for locals. They serve coffee, tea, pastries, salads and American-Mexican breakfast items.
I have drove pass by this cafe for years on weekends but always find it too busy or have a long wait....

I used to frequent this place with my family when I grew up around the corner. I was in the neighborhood and stopped in for a cortado which took 15 minutes to get to me and had basically no foam at all / was flat like drip coffee and was lukewarm. I kindly asked if it could be hotter and they returned in scalding hot (lol ok). You’d think an establishment that’s been a staple for so long in such an esteemed neighborhood would have everything down to a T.
