Central Park bistro is my favorite restaurant in the San Mateo Burlingame area. The food is always excellent the staff professional and friendly and the ambience lovely I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. Every dish carefully prepared, presented and seasoned. Attentive service, very professional staff. Not inexpensive but well worth the price.

The restaurant was almost empty at 8:30 on a Saturday night. That worried us but maybe people in San Mateo eat earlier. The staff was extremely welcoming. The drink menu was small but very different. The waiter was also the bartender and he told us he made our drink with “extra love” which was sweet. The drinks were quite good. We split an artichoke beignet appetizer and really enjoyed it. The burger my wife ordered was very good. I ordered the crab and shrimp ravioli. I never order ravioli because the portions are generally small. However, this portion was generous and the taste was different and delicious. We were too full for desserts but there were so many we would have loved to try. The service was awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant.

We always enjoy our meals here and are happy it's in our neighborhood! Food and drinks are delicious and we often eat outside since we have a dog. Indoors is also very pleasant and you can choose to sit at the bar or at a table.

Central Park Bistro is a favorite. The staff and service is wonderful. The menu, although relatively static, is excellent. We will continue to go often.

The food here is excellent and there are many unique dishes you don't see on all the other menus in town. The tagliatelle special (with short ribs and smoked tomatoes) was wonderful. The Brie and pear filo rolls are also great. Halibut entree very good. Tartare could have have a bit more seasoning but was fine.

Everything was better than good. The hostess gave us an enthusiastic welcome and sat us earlier than our reservation time which was great. Our server was hilarious, the rest of the staff was on so top of things. The food was so good I was kinda sad when I finished it all bc there was no more left.

Always good food and service, best part is I can walk there! If you haven't been there before you should probably give them a try!

Pleasant interior, with attentive waiters. They had a (special) of Angel hair pasta, olive oil lemon sauce with crab and cherry tomatoes that was exquisitely done and delicious. The house mixed green salad was OK but had a large amount of salt. Who needs to add salt to a salad? If salt were needed it could easily be added by the diner! Overall a nice place, but you might need to bring a diuretic; depending on the dish.

Excellent ambiance, food and service and a diverse menu to meet the needs of guests with varied appetites and special "dietary "needs! Accommodated our request for a quiet table, though we ate early on a weeknight at 6:30. Will return to this restaurant without hesitation!

It was one of those evenings when everything went just right. The service was more than attentive. Every order was right on target. Of special note were the Brussel Sprouts appetizer and cauliflower pasta dishes. We visit Central Park Bistro every so often; last night was a good reason to return more often.
