I gauge the taquerias that I love by their super burritos, specifically carne asada and shrimp combo. My go to, El Maguey in San Carlos, is 10/10 consistently, but I wanted something new on a recent trip to the peninsula. I am so happy to have tried this nondescript taqueria -
JUICY shrimp, crisped (outside) and tender (inside) carne asada, and a crema sauce that brought this to San Diego level and style of fluffy soft tortilla with juicy filling. So, so good.

A very tidy El Camino taqueria where flavors are clean and simple. Meats are seasoned just right, not too salty or greasy.

Street parking out front is competitive, but there is ample parking in the back around the block.
