Great all-you-can-eat hot pot! The meat was fresh, especially the beef and lamb, and the soup base was flavorful. There was a wide variety of vegetables, seafood, and other ingredients to choose from. The staff was friendly, attentive, and kept everything well stocked. The restaurant was clean, and the overall dining experience was excellent. Definitely worth the price, and I’ll be coming back again!

Food was amazing! The spicy and sour broth hit the spot! One of the first broths I’ve had at hot pot that when they say spicy it actually means spicy.

Meat was fresh and tasty. The environment was clean and people were there for FIFA as well, so super festive vibe! The service was excellent, our server Mr Fish was amazing. We had a great meal with the whole family.

The food was good, but the service completely ruined the experience. The employee with the curly hair was consistently rude and kept interrupting us whenever we were speaking instead of letting us finish. He also poured soup over the fence into our pot, which felt careless and unprofessional. To make matters worse, he dropped the check on the table without even using a check presenter or saying a word.
I hope management takes customer service more seriously.

The ambiance here is quite pleasant. The service is good, and the food is fresh. However, the prices are a bit high. I visited this place over the weekend and was charged a total of $94.39 for two people. That’s almost $100!

THE BEST!!! My husband and I have been coming to Happy Lamb San Mateo for probably a year now, so this review is much overdue! They have some of the best hot pot broths and their meat/seafood/veggies are always such high quality. The service is always so friendly (shout out to Alvin!) and the sauce bar is well stocked. Even with all the hot pot places near us in San Francisco, we keep coming back to Happy Lamb in San Mateo. Thank you for all that you do!!

Loved going there because of the selection of food and atmosphere. Only complaint is that the soup is always sooooo salty. We all got so thirsty after eating. Can the chef just add less salt in the soup please?

Good experience, worker here are passionate. You can grab anything you want. And it’s really affordable and worthy to have a try. I kind of like the relaxing vibe here
