Giving this a five star due to the quality of the food, and the wine, even though it is sooo reasonable, its incredibly good too.
The ambience is nice, but don’t let the dark exterior fool you. Or the word express. It is certainly not your typical “express” anything. It is delightful, relaxing, beautiful Italian music, and simply divine food. Service has always been good everyone we good here.

The BEST Italian restaurant we’ve found in the Bay Area! The freshest pasta with amazing flavor, and excellent and quick service. We can’t wait to be back!

Kid-friendliness: We brought a toddler and an infant and loved the low-key atmosphere of the restaurant, it felt very kid-friendly to us! They had high chairs too, and of course, our toddler loved the pasta and the bread with dip!!

my experience at Sapore Express was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of fresh, flavorful pasta and exceptional service makes this restaurant a standout in the culinary scene. I highly recommend Sapore Express to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience that tantalizes the taste buds and leaves you wanting more. The Calamari Fritti is out of this world. I can't wait to return and indulge in their delectable dishes once again.
