I have a major sweet tooth and this tea was incredibly SWEET. May want to get a lower % of sweetness for the Hojicha.

I still wasn’t able to sleep that night, so at least you know they use tea.

Not a fan of brown sugar series, but their fruit tea and juice was delicious. I tried their Cheese Watermelon juice and it was so tasty and thirst quenching ?

Wonderful boba! In fact the best tasting boba balls I tasted. If you're not into a lightly sweetened boba balls, then you might not like it.

Parking: Quite a few handicap parking available.

I like their strawberry section in the kiosk where they offer different kinds of drinks that will contain strawberry to anyone (like me) that loves strawberries.

Tried their orchid milk tea and strawberry jasmine with salted cheese. Didn't really get any orchid flavors but I honestly don't even know what to expect lol. The tea was good though! The strawberry drink was fine despite 0% sweet. Overall 4/5 for us. This is a good addition to the neighborhood!

Tiger tea & Juice is a really good place to get your boba drink. It’s located near all sorts of restaurants so if you want boba tea or something else it’s only steps away. On top of that they make it really easy to order with the indoor kiosk. Overall it’s a must have if you’re in downtown San Mateo.

Dietary restrictions: They offer dairy milk substitutes.

I got the avomango shake and my friend got the brown sugar boba milk tea. Both good. Reasonable wait time. Cute ambience. Would do it again. Happy customers. This place might not be for you if you like an extensive menu as their selection is quite small.

New tiger tea shop in San Mateo. I tried the one at Burlingame before. It is known for their black sugar boba molk tea. It is a small store. This place, as I remember, used to be a boba shop, too. The shop is pretty neat. You ordered via the touch scree kiosk. It is good it advise what sugar level to be chosen. We ordered grape fruit, and it suggested 50% sugar and mentioned less than that would be bitter, and it was correct. Pricewise, it is considered cheaper than other boba shops. The drink doesn't look like the one on the menu. It is supposed to be red ish, but it turns out to be a different color, and the worker said it was green tea. The grape fruit is very light taste on the grapefruit. I wish it was stronger. The good thing about this shop is you can substitute the milk.

They don’t properly honor their promotions. False advertising.
