Great drinks and service! Teas are very flavorful at a decent price too. Tip: if you order on Snackpass, some locations might have specials. Example: half off tea drinks on Mondays.

I got the black sugar boba milk tea, 75% sweet and it was really good. I'm glad I got 75% sweet it is the perfect sweetness level for this drink.

When Tiger Tea opened, I thought "does San Mateo really need another boba place?" I was wrong. We had a craving for Thai Tea and popped into Tiger Tea. Also saw their Avocado shake and was intrigued since I've only seen these at Viet restaurants. Both drinks were fantastic Thai tea had a strong tea flavor with just enough sweetness at 75% 5/5 Avocado shake was very refreshing, creamy and sweet 5/5

The best black sugar boba I've ever had! Immediately jumps right up into one of our favorites and that's saying something. This place is top-notch! Ordered Black Sugar Milk and a Chocolate almond Milk with agar. Black sugar milk was spectacular (even without the tea - it was nighttime and I wanted to avoid caffeine though I'd bet the tea is awesome too), every element perfect, creamy milk, strong solid caramelized sugar to exactly the right stage to be rich powerful strong and delicious and not have a hint bitter. The black tapioca boba itself was smooth, the right amount of chewy and flavorful with lots of brown brulee'd sugar flavor. The chocolate almond milk was also really really good and I don't care for almond milk. What a find!

Tried their orchid milk tea and strawberry jasmine with salted cheese. Didn't really get any orchid flavors but I honestly don't even know what to expect lol. The tea was good though! The strawberry drink was fine despite 0% sweet. Overall 4/5 for us. This is a good addition to the neighborhood!

This location of tiger tea is pretty small but gets things done! Easy to order from the touch screen. I had the da hong pao milk tea with boba. It was a refreshing tea flavor. Felt more mellow than a typical black milk tea. Call me crazy but the first half of the drink tasted a bit watery overall (tea flavor not super strong), but as the ice melted there was a nice subtle sweetness that came through from the tea. Very nice. The boba was soft and sweet, with ok chewiness (more on the softer side). I'm happy to see that they have hojicha on the menu, so I'll have to go and check it out next time! .... Aaand I'm back from trying the hojicha latte! It has a deep roasted flavor and good creaminess overall. Very satisfied, I'm happy! The boba this time was more chewy and sweet, good texture. Initially the drink was a bit sweet at 100%, but once the ice melts a bit the flavor really comes out; wonderful. May need to try 80% next time for instant sipping. I up this spot to a 5/5!

I've been to the Burlingame location and thought it was very good, but this just wasn't the same in terms of the drink quality. I ordered the same thing at the San Mateo location; Classic Black milk tea with boba and zero sugar. The boba here tasted average and lacked the same chew/texture. Tea was still strong but the ratio of milk/cream to tea didn't seem the same either. Props for the quick service, but it feels difficult to justify this when TP Tea is a couple minutes walk away.

This place is slowly becoming one of my favorite spots for milk tea. I love milk teas that are higher in the tea flavor- less milky tasting if that makes sense. My recent purchase was the brown rice milk tea (large, 70% sweet, less ice +add on red beans) and it was great. Really easy to sip on and really good brown rice flavor. Only really starts getting watery near the bottom but only because I'm not drinking it fast enough. I like the touch screen kiosk ordering when you get to the counter (there is another kiosk by the window) and the staff is friendly if you have any questions. Not usually too busy but I think it's because there are so many drink and dessert spots in the area. Can't wait to go back and try some other flavors.

Ordered a black sugar boba milk tea 16 oz and it was pretty good! Prices are also pretty standard at 5.75 __ Service is also good. Got my order very quickly. Will def come back to try other drinks.

Always happy to see another boba shop! Tiger Tea is known and loved and this one did not disappoint. The location is great right in downtown, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the drinks were delicious! The interior was small but clean and ordering was easy with the kiosks. I don't think the drinks are mind blowingly good, but they are definitely more than sufficient for a boba craving and they seem to use high quality ingredients :)

Cute little boba and tea store in downtown San Mateo. The staff was friendly, nice, and very helpful. There's street parking and a parking garage not far from here. I had a hot brown sugar boba, delicious.

Salted cheese green tea and boba, 75% sweet - 5/5 the tea/boba is really good here, the salted cheese makes the drink a bit sweeter so I'd probably order 50% sweet next time. Minus one star because the small is really small (but cute) and the drink was half salted cheese so definitely order a larger size if you want more tea!

Everything was delicious! It's a cute store just office the main street in downtown San Mateo. There's a lot of tea and Boba shops so it can definitely be hard to pick one. Our drinks are ready pretty fast and tasted yummy. It's definitely a little bit pricey, but very comparable to other stores in the area.

Another boba spot opened up in Downtown SM! If you want black sugar boba, get it here! It leans a little sweet but has a nice, creamy caramelized flavor. If you want something more refreshing, go for the mint mojito drink. A good choice if you want something light after dinner or a cool summer drink. Service was pretty fast and you just order on a screen. However, this is more of a to-go spot. There's no tables or chairs if you want to sit down and enjoy your drink.

Tiger tea & Juice is a really good place to get your boba drink. It’s located near all sorts of restaurants so if you want boba tea or something else it’s only steps away. On top of that they make it really easy to order with the indoor kiosk. Overall it’s a must have if you’re in downtown San Mateo.Dietary restrictions: They offer dairy milk substitutes.
