“Fun to do if in the area, a lot of people come here because the cafe was featured in LaLaLand movie. The music here is great, they have all sorts from day to night. I went to a jazz show and rock band which was fun, the singer was hopping all over the room. LOL I had a jalapeño black salt margarita but wasn’t a fan, it was wellmade but the flavors don’t agree with me. The food smells good but I didn’t eat anything, lots of fried foods. I recommend going in the day because they start charging for cover around 7.“

“I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the food to be this exceptional. And that is because sometimes chain establishments are not great. However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy and short rib hash!!!!! Omg so delicious!! I can’t wait to come back for more!!!“

“Great place for drinks, food, and awesome staff. Will stop in again when back in town. Being retired from the food industry and family members owns a lot of bars and restaurants all over the U.S. especially New Orleans. I would give this place 2 👍 👍.“

“Super cool bar with a local feel in Hermosa Beach. It’s located like a block away from the pier and is a great place to enjoy some quality drinks with friends. The staff were all super friendly and knowledgeable. The vibe and atmosphere is great too“

“Dive bar. I like that. 2 pool tables. Both are pretty damn good. Locals are a bit on the “I’m so tough” side. But not so bad to keep you away. Occasionally there are good shooters there. Good bartenders… and again, 2 good pool tables. I’m in!

“Been to this bar since it was Ferns then the Bird and now the hideout, I love how it looks now when it was Ferns it was smelly dirty they didn't keep up with the bar or restrooms seemed like homeless ppl were there all the time, they've changed it so much it seems bigger spacious smells clean it's organized well attented enjoy the DJ very much there's a good space to dance and hang out, alcohol prices are good they even have happy hour well worth it. They don't sell food, but there are many spots in the area to grab a bite.“
