I agree. Some people just don't get it. Walker's is a GEM. Did you know that it used to be a Red Car depot? If you hike far enough south at the Sunken City, you can still see tracks. Also, a key scene in "Chinatown" was shot in front of the cafe. The fact that it hasn't been touched since the 70's makes it rare and special, indeed. I too have encountered less than friendly wait staff, but I just ignore it and talk to the employees like I would anyone else. I don't mind a little...read full review
Been coming here for years. NEVER had a bad experience.For those of you that have posted reviews about "Racial Profiling", I say to you, I'm Hispanic 100%, never have i been treated less than a person by ANY of the staff or Patrons here. Maybe if you came in to actually spend money here, you'd be treated differently instead of a "Freeloader". The staff are volunteers basically.

We ordered take out which worked for the both of us. Location was good, right across the street from Point Fermin Park. The food was satisfying, customer service was excellent and prices were reasonable. We've returned twice since our first visit and service is always the same, excellent!
