One of the nicest rooftop bar of San Rafael, even if it's the only one I know. The views of the surrounding valley are gorgeous, there are excellent shading options and the seating arrangements offer plenty of comfortable nooks for both large parties and small groups of friends.

Above Fifth is a great spot to chill with friends. The rooftop offers stunning views of Mt Tam and the city, with cozy fire pits creating the perfect vibe for relaxing. The menu features small plates, such as Grilled Cheese, oysters, Carrot Humus, meatballs, chicken skewers, and hamachi crudo, which are all delicious. The bar serves great cocktails, including the "Nico Suave," Smokey maple old fashioned, and pomegranate mojito, with knowledgeable bartenders like MAX and NICO. Staff like Elise and Jennifer provide wonderful, personalized service, making guests feel right at home. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind in a welcoming, scenic setting.
