It’s always great to go to a place that makes you feel like home
I grew up in San Jose and spent several years in Oakland. After moving to Marin, I got tired of driving back to the East Bay on a regular quest for Mexican and Central American food that’s actually eaten by the people who grew up with it.
We ordered cheese pupusas and plantains with beans and crema. I asked if they could add fresh jalapeños to the pupusas, and they happily agreed without any attitude. The staff was genuinely welcoming and kind.

I love this taqueria, their steak tacos are chefs kiss :)
