I have gone 2 times this restaurant. The waiters are very friendly. Prices are high for the portions . 1st time, I got a lomo saltado ( main dish & portion was ok) 2 causas rellenas ( appetizers) , and 2 non alcoholic drinks
My total was $80. 2nd time , I ordered: order kd empanadas ( there were 2 tinny empanadas (.halt of the palm of my hand), 1 plate w flautas ( came w rice and blcak beans), 1 chicharon ( 1 piece of chicharon about 7 inch long and 1 inch wide, amd 3 pieces of casava ), 2 orders of guacamole and chip and 2 alcholic drinks , the total was $150. Both days there we playing live salsa: however , I don't appreciate the small portions and increases prices.

The food and drinks were really good but too expensive for the quantity you receive. The music was extremely loud, was hard to have conversation at the table. Was given a dirty glass, but immediately replaced when asked for with no apology.

It was a gathering of 5 women celebrating a special birthday. Horrible restaurant temperature. It was as extremely hot. We asked the sever 3 times about the air conditioner setting. The air was clearly not on. And she gave 3 different vague answers. Never replied directly. Never apologized. Never brouht the manager over to explain anything about the environment. Overall epic fail.

What an incredible experience! We went to celebrate my sister's birthday, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The food was simply exquisite, and I had the chance to try crickets for the first time—let me tell you, they were surprisingly delicious! I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. The tacos, empanadas, and the coconut dessert were all absolute perfection. To top it off, our server was fantastic and exceptionally kind. A flawless 10/10!

Came with a female friend to help promote their dance night. Paid the tab and tip with cash and when we were done dancing for the night our waiter had already left and due to their poor record keeping they tried to claim we didn't pay and wanted me to pay twice. It could've been simply cleared up with a call to the waiter that just ended his shift or pulled up on surveillance camera but, instead, we were held up while they took their time searching for the paper tab which eventually confirmed the amount I said I paid when found. They offered no apology of any kind.

We came on Sunday noon, there were plenty of tables available. We especially liked Aguachile and Pulpo A La Plancha. Tlayuda was a good idea but not our favorite.

With an award under their belt you would expect the food to be so much better. Dead restaurant and now I understand why. The food is not worth the expense. So sorry but raise the bar to keep that award! Stop the false advertising?

I couldn’t believe how this spot has never populated for me on Google! This place is amazing! From the ambiance to the drinks to the food. My husband and I are big foodies and although this place is slightly more on the expensive side the quality of food speaks for itself. For appetizers, we shared the aguachiles, the quesadilla with chicken and the Brussels sprouts.
The quesadilla was in a toasty blue corn tortilla, salsa puya, Oaxaca cheese, chicken, corn and what tasted like rajas, highly recommend. The Brussels sprouts were toasted to perfection with Parmesan cheese flakes, mixed pickled veggies with this chile ancho sauce glazed over. For our entrees, my husband got camarones a la diabla, which was some spicy red lentils cooked in a mich mole with some sautéed shrimp on top, topped off with almonds. This plate was so creamy and so good. I got the carnitas plate with a side of rice and beans. It was slow roasted pork on this salsa verde with pickled onions, cilantro and pork jus. It comes paired with homemade tortillas that they make as you order.

The service was so great, our waitress Banessa was on it and one of the owners stepped out to check on how everything was. As it being our first time we were intrigued by the story behind this restaurant. I told him I found it on social media that it had a Michelin star and I couldn’t believe we had never tried it. It has a Peruvian, Oaxaca and Japanese infusion and you can taste it in their food. The drinks were amazing, mostly tequila and mezcal based but they have substitutes available. My favorite was the ay madre and my husband’s was the Sinaloa in a glass.

Definitely plan on coming back for the live music and all day happy hour on Wednesdays!

Terrible staff, all despotic, they don't know how to serve customers, how are they going to tell us “come in if you want” just for asking something that they had not informed us when we reserved the table? Train your staff better.
