FengYing Guilin Rice Noodle Reviews
Good portions
Very tasty and amazing noodles. I loved the broth. Staff are friendly and food was quick. They have free unlimited condiments!
Haven’t had Guilin Mifen for a long time. Came here today as we are visiting LA. Honestly surprised at the large portions. You can add your own side ingredients, and there’s unlimited refill of soup. Wife is from Guangxi and she approves as well.

FengYing Guilin Rice Noodle is a restaurant that serves Guilin Mifen with large portions. The soup is 10/10 and the service is 10/10. Customers can add their own side ingredients from a condiment bar with options like freshly grated garlic, chili oil with crisps, fresh ground chili paste, sliced green onion, chopped cilantro, and roasted peanuts, with unlimited refill of soup. The condiment bar is especially nice, and one can put as much cilantro and green onion as they want. It usually is never too busy that one has to wait for a table.
The House Special is highly recommended and comes with all the proteins, including snail that is flavorful and crunchy, almost like geoduck marinated in their special sauce. The options are either dry based or soup based, and the dry version comes with a small bowl side of clean broth. The correct way to eat the dry version is to mix together with the condiments and when about a third portion is left, pour in the broth to finish it. The braised beef soup option is delicious. Protein options include crispy pork slices, sliced beef, pork intestines, crispy pork with beef ribs, and braised beef soup bowl, and all of the meats are delightful and tender. The cucumber salad is perfect to help cut through the slight greasiness, and the century eggs are also tasty. The Liuzhou noodles are really good, just too spicy for some, and recommended if one can handle Chinese spiciness. The crispy pork rice noodles, tofu noodles and cucumbers are all seriously good. Guilin noodles are softer in texture, not as elastic as the vermicelli, but that is what makes guilin noodles so tasty. Portions are very generous, and after adding the condiments it looks like 30% more in portion size.
