Everything was great. They just went thru a new owner and the vibe is different. Not much revolving around the sushi belt. That was the best part about this place. Grabbing sushi that you didn't know that you wanting.
The place does look brighter but the ordering changed as well. It takes away from it feeling like an old sushi bar which I loved. The prices increased as well.
Not sure if I'll be back here. I miss the old atmosphere.

Kaisen Kaiten Sushi is a revolving sushi spot with a chill atmosphere inside, where most people mind their business. The conveyor carries nagiri and sashimi traveling the length of the bar, which is a novel selling point. The sushi is good, fresh, and tasty, with generous pieces that are well prepared and delivered in a timely manner. Prices feel fair and in line with other revolving sushi spots, though some plates are pricey if too many are ordered. The uni is alright, and the oyster is good. The restaurant is small, cozy, and not too big, so waits can be long, especially at dinner. For service, the focus is on the basics and the kitchen; guests need to flag someone down if they need something, which is efficient. To order, fill out a paper and put it in the tray on the belt, then wait for the number to come back. However, online special instructions are not listened to—requests to not include wasabi are ignored, and it smears onto the food. Overall, it is way better than Kula or other kaiten sushi, and a good option for something quick and casual, though there are definitely better sushi places.
