As someone who was a UCSB student for four years and working here as a staff member for three after that....you have to appreciate the little things like De La Guerra Dining Commons. One of my favorite places to grab a quick bite to eat on campus, you have to time it just right. If you hit DLG at 12pm be prepared to wait an eternity to get inside. You have to take note that class times are gonna be the deciding factor on whether you wait in line or zip on in. Try aiming for that...read full review

The food here is really hit or miss. If the plate you grab has been sitting out for a while it's not gonna be good. Their are always asain style options, pizza choices and burgers. The desert is always pretty good when I come here, it's always a nice variety. They also have self serve ice cream with lots of flavors so that's really cool. They keep the place somewhat clean.
