I've been coming to IHOP for years and in particular to the Goleta restaurant. The service is terrific, always, their employees are very polite and courteous and that's why I keep coming to this location even though the downtown location is closer to me. Unfortunately, the menu has changed a lot and prices have skyrocketed. I ordered my usual omelette, crepes, and an orange juice for 2 people and it was $70!!! Mmm I gave into my cravings once again and visited IHOP tonight. I had been thinking about the Harvest Grain Pancakes and they did not disappoint. The service was also wonderful (I was nervous reading all of the negative reviews about the service). The plate was delivered in a timely manner and the pancakes were nice and hot. Thank you for the nostalgic experience!

We must have been luckier than many other reviewers... we ate dinner there two days in a row; both times quite satisfactory compared to the price. The poor waiter could apparently not get our strange European jokes, though - but kudos for trying. :-)
