“We stumbled upon this spot for lunch while visiting on vacation and were highly impressed. The chips and salsa tasted fresh and I couldn’t get enough of the green one! When our entrees came, their presentation was appetizing enough but within the first bite, my husband and I knew we were in for a delicious meal. Everything seemed so intentional and you can tell they care about the quality of the food they prepare. The same goes for their service. Everyone was kind and helpful with questions about the menu. The bar even made a mocktail for me since I’m not able to drink and it was delicious! Definitely worth a visit next time we are in town!“
“AMAZING FOOD. I currently live near Palm Springs, where you would assume there's great Mexican food. You'd assume wrong. It sucks here. Cheap, lazy crap. Santa Barbara, Ventura, TO, Oxnard... great food. Buen Gusto's greasy, FULL, savory, tasty, crispy quesadillas are legendary. My gold standard quesadilla. Thin, clean, dry quesadillas are the worst. If it's not thick with marinated meat and dripping grease, then it's not a good quality quesadilla. Good quesadillas are not meant to be healthy options. I've only had the quesadilla and Camarones a-la Diabla, that was great too. I just ate another typical POS quesadilla from Palm Springs area, and it made me give this spot 5 stars.“
