Cafe Big Mug Reviews
The spanish latte here is my absolute favorite in the entire Bay Area and you always get the best customer service from Linda. Say hi to her when you're at the coffee shop ☺️
Great coffee shop!
This is one of my favorite places to study! Their food and drinks are really good and I like that they have a small pop up area that you can pick up small stationary goods.
This place is very structured for people to vibe and work in. Note that their windows do not have blinds so the sun definitely will get to you at some parts but it's honestly fine. Their free wifi and ambience is quite good especially if you enjoy bit more active ambient cafe noise and everyday life.

Cafe Big Mug offers plenty of seating, wifi, and one bathroom. The music varies depending on the baristas, from K-pop to jazz. The coffee tasted burnt, overshadowing flavors like pandan and tiramisu. The Spanish latte was incredibly delicious. Parking can be a bit of a hassle. The ambiance is pleasant and chill, always bustling with people. The sandwiches are large enough for sharing. The cafe is loud inside but has many outlets, making it a good spot for studying with friends. Recently, the cafe has been seen as a decent place, though not particularly standout compared to competitors. Drinks are usually fine, with the default espresso leaning towards acidity or a lighter roast. The highlight is the Mont Blanc, which is believed to be cold brew with sweet cream foam, offering a refreshing taste. Food options like toasts are available but may seem overpriced for what is offered. Customers often order to-go, but the interior remains spacious with good seating and free Wi-Fi, making it suitable for working or studying. The website was shut down in August and replaced with mobile apps that are not yet available, which some see as a mistake, since online ordering through the website was easier. Still, orders can be placed via DoorDash, though with extra fees. A recent visit included a Tiramisu Latte and avocado toast for quick takeout, both of which were delicious, especially the latte.
