Best tacos in San Jose. Always go there went am in the area

I’ve been going to these guys for a good 10 years plus. Back then, they used to be on Moorpark & Saratoga, but their food is still bomb. Their tacos are actually a really reasonable price, especially now that places are charging like $4.99 🤯—you don’t really find them for $3-something anymore. Anyway, I always order ahead, and their sauces are my favorite. I will be back again and again!!

Al pastor burrito: 4.2
Carne asada burrito: 4.2
Overall (novelty): 4.4

Al pastor: this one’s weird in a way that grows on you. It doesn’t hit like traditional pastor. Not super chili-forward, not smoky, not that trompo flavor. It almost tastes like a mix between chicken and steak. Softer, more blended flavor. At first it’s like “what is this,” but the more you eat it, the more it makes sense. Still, not super punchy. 3 out 5 on pure meat.
