Cairo Grill is a great Egyptian restaurant with super authentic food and amazing vibes. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and cozy. The menu offers a huge selection of Egyptian dishes and all the comfort food from home. The food is fresh, flavorful, well seasoned, and delicious. Specific favorites include the falafel, the hawawshi (a meat pie), the koshary, the schwarma, and the ribeye steak. The rice pudding is also phenomenal. The owner is kind, friendly, and accommodating. The lounge area is clean and inviting, with outdoor lounge seating as a bonus. It is a must-try restaurant in San Jose where the experience is fantastic and definitely worth returning to.
