This place is a sleeper hole in the wall. I bought the El amigo burrito with carne asada and it was 🔥. $20 but that seems to be the rate anywhere. it's a sit in restaurant but you can order to-go. A Must try
Great food!.. Hot and delicious!!
I get burritos all the time and this is one of the more disappointing ones. I got the El Amigo burrito with carne asada but all it had was small cubes of asada and the rest was beans and Pico all for $21. The burrito is named after the restaurant so I thought it would have been a lot more flavorful at least
Food is delicious, a little pricey but worth it! Very friendly

Food is decent, portions are good but the price of the meal plates are outrageous. I’ve eaten here for years & had not been in a long time. So I grab my food 8/31/24 to my surprise I was hit with sticker shock ? never have I ever seen prices like this. Just outlandish in my opinion.
Parking: Parking lot is usually full because of the small grocery store & the bar at the other end.

A friend introduced me to this place, and she, another friend, and I had lunch there today, so it was my second visit. I had a shrimp soft taco that came with wonderfully just-cooked-enough veggies inside with the shrimp, and a side of refried beans. (I'm a huge fan of refried pinto beans, but my household likes black beans, so I rarely eat them except in restaurants.)
My friends also enjoyed their meals. One friend ordered a tortilla-free burrito lunch, and that was very nicely done.
Prices are reasonable.
Service was quick and flawless. Water glasses were refilled promptly. The best description of the place I can offer is *friendly*. This is my new casual meal out restaurant, for sure.

Walked in the restaurant to eat and it was 95 outside and they had no air conditioning it was hot
I love their Chicken Mole!! It is an old family recipe & it's delicious!! Tastes the same as it did 20 years ago. Yum.
I also recommend the Chile Relleno, so good! The flautas are also delish.

The food was good, however we were shorted 4 salads and no adjustment was made on the bill. The server tried to claim he took off the two margaritas, but he did not. We knew the price of the mango margarita and the regular one. Not one cent was taken off, didn't offer salads to take home. I don't like paying for food I don't get.

It's a small family restaurant. They still have seated serving and do it well. Traditional food without the trendyness, just the tastyness.
