I came here twice using a Groupon tea set for 4. It exceeded my expectations greatly. The parfaits started the surprisingly good set; cold, refreshing, and healthy-tasting.The scones came out hot and crispy. There were four different flavors and I was partial to the gooey chocolate one. They are the triangular type scones that you find at coffee shops or sometimes bakeries, not the traditional English tea scones. The sandwiches were delicious, made with $1.99 Safeway bread but does it really matter if it's tasty? The avocado toast with hard boiled egg was legitimately millennial. For the sweets, the macarons were crispy on the outside with a chewy interior and I have never tasted such delicious strawberries out of season. The decoration is precious. The first time we sat in a more secluded shaded area as we were doing a bridesmaid ask and the second time we sat by the window for some good lighting.

This place is gone! I had a Groupon and was looking forward to tea! Closed! Yelp please take off this place .

They moved to Cafe Big Mug on Stevens Creek. Not sure if permanent. You have to call Cafe Big Mug to make reservations for "high tea." My husband would never do it but he did it for our little girl. Wow, I was very impressed by the desserts. Everything was really good! The service is amazing! I didn't catch her name but she asked constantly if we needed anything. Will def do it again! We had so much left over food. I couldn't eat everything. My daughter loved the experience!!!Strawberry parfaitHam/cheese sandwich Egg sandwichAvocado/egg sandwichWaffle (our favorite-super sweet)5-6 macaronsA tiny chocolate and Vanilla cake3 scones (raspberry, blueberry, and banana) 2 other tiny pastries, not sure what they wereA real good list of teas, about 10 to choose from- we had a while champagne tea and satsuma tea)Tons of strawberries, lol!!

So disappointed. I'm here on a Friday at 1pm. Their website said they will be open. I planned weeks for this. I got sitters for the kids and drove an hour to get here.

Not your typical charming, delicious tea spot. It was empty, some of the food tasted a bit stale and our server wasn't friendly.

I can't give a rating about anything inside the store as they weren't open! I tried over months to schedule both on the phone and the internet (their website and through yelp) but no one responded. I even went to the store during business hours, took a picture of the posted business hours and sent an email. Still no response. My little girl and I were really looking forward to her first tea party. Bad form J Dessert.

So they moved from the plaza where Beque is at and now they're actually a part of Cafe Big Mug in Saratoga. I am In love with the aesthetics just look how cute the platings are and not to mention, they all tasted amazing! They start you off with two tea sets and a strawberry yogurt parfait so My fiancé got sencha satsuma tea and I got the Earl Grey. Next came our wonderful finger food platter which was plated so cute on a 3 tiered heart shaped pastry platter filled with different flavored macarons, cream puffs, toasted Belgium waffles with a drizzle of honey, egg salad sandwiches, ham & cheese sandwiches, avocado toasts, and fresh strawberries! They also give you a basket of warm scones with different flavors and a pecan cream spread that was sooo amazing. I've had a lot of tea parties but this was the best I've had so far. They're staff was also very attentive and made sure we were doing fine and kept refilling our teas. Definitely coming back. Thank you for such a great time!

I don't give it 5 stars because I didn't like the red beans in the Bingsoo.

Better tasting afternoon tea than Lisa's tea treasures and waaaaay cheaper. The amount of food was astounding and the atmosphere was so peaceful. I emailed to make the reservation and it took like a week to respond but otherwise worked great.

I thought the place was good, and the service was good. A little on the sweet side for my taste buds.

My friend and I were craving afternoon tea. We found this spot, and decided to drag our boyfriends along. We found out right before that they have a Groupon, so we had to come try it out. EXPERIENCE They sat us immediately, but took forever to come ask us for our tea order. They seemed very understaffed. Once they took our order, everything slowly started coming out. The servers don't really check on you, it is sometimes hard to get their attention. We had ample amount of time to talk and take pictures, no rush at all. All of this dishwear seems kind of mismatched, and the decor inside also seemed a little chaotic. There is no cohesive theme, to tie everything together. I would not say that as a whole everything looked aesthetically pleasing. They have a small photo backdrop area, but that design wise was also kind of confusing. If you're here for nice pictures, they will look okay, its really mix and match, but maybe that's your style. FOOD (4/5) Fruit Parfait (not pictured) - It was good, nothing special. (3/5) Scones (blueberry, matcha chocolate chip, pecan, earl grey) - I personally loved the earl grey scone. I think less would've been more in this case. It was not necessary to have so many flavors, but do a couple well. Some of them were dry, you could dip them in your tea, but the flavors could be non-complimentary. (4/5) Sandwiches (avocado toast, cucumber cream cheese, ham & cheese) - Fairly basic variety of sandwiches. They were done well. So I will not complain. (3/5) Waffles, Macaroons, Banana Bread - These were the least memorable. I was not wowed at all. And I normally love to see the cute and creative desserts that can come with afternoon tea. OVERALL The price for afternoon tea is okay with the Groupon discount. I was not amazed by any of of the food served, and the service was quite slow. I did not hate the experience, but I don't think I would come back. I don't know anywhere else that serves afternoon tea in the area, so I would maybe recommend this place to them since there's no other options. It was fine, but don't expect the class and elegance typically associated with afternoon tea.

The staff was super kind and friendly and the spread was one of the best afternoon tea i ever had!! Definitely plan to make another reservation when I'm back in the area.

I am not sure what happened to this place! They were much better the first time I tried but it seems to have gone downhill.Pros- tasty savories, the avocado toast and yogurt parfait were very good, you leave fullCons- small tea selection, will ignore allergies/dietary changes, cheap ingredients, subpar tablewareTo start, the tea menu was already sparse at 8 kinds, and several teas were crossed out, leaving us with a choice of only 6 to choose from. If you are going to be running a tea place I would expect a minimum of 14, but I've been to my fair share of tea houses that have at least 20 tea selections to choose from. There were no warm food items, sweet or savory. I would have liked the scones to be warmed up. Additionally, the only condiments for the scones were a nut compund butter and some jam, which was kept behind the counter and was visibly smucker's grape jelly. If you take a peek behind the counter, you can tell that a lot of the items are premade and lower end (costco's kirkland brand, quaker oats granola, smuckers jam etc) which they should at least try to hide lol. I appreciate trying something new, but there was no lemon curd or clotted cream, which is typical for afternoon tea.I'm also allergic to all nuts but almonds, and could only eat one of the three scones, and could not eat the butter with nuts either despite me notifying them of my dietary needs while filling out the reservation form online prior to my arrival. Curiously, they did not give me any granola in my parfait because it had almonds, even though I specified that was the only nut I am not allergic to.The savouries were tasty, but the sweets were nothing to write home about. Despite the mix-up with the nut scones, they did use white bread for my avocado toast instead of walnut bread which I appreciated, and it was very tasty with the boiled egg. They also give you french macarons with the tea, which I liked. They do give you a lot of food items, I left full and with a takeout box, but I am also very petite at under 5' tall. Many of the items seem premade, it looks like there are very few items made in-house except for the sandwiches and parfait. I understand that it takes additional money+permits to be able to cook at an establishment like this in Santa Clara, so I'll let it slide. This may be a nit-pick, but there was no tablecloth on the table, and the utensils were plastic and rolled into a paper cocktail napkin and secured with a small plastic hairband. I go out to tea to feel fancy, and plastic forks are not fancy.I also suspect they have been jacking up their tea prices so you feel like you're getting a discount when you buy their Groupon deals, Crown and Crumpet tea in San Francisco and Lovejoy's(multiple locations) have far better afternoon tea for a lower price, even without a discount. I don't think I will be coming back.

Super cute aesthetic, great place for tea parties. Tea came with several different choices and was accompanied by scones and sandwiches
