A challenge that any Korean should consider... The soup taste was good, but the meat that should have been called Sari (?) was so-so... And the amount of noodles seemed a bit small compared to the price, like other reviews.

Excellent hand pulled noodles. Beef noodle soup is a must here, but don't miss out on the hand pulled dishes! Appetizers are great too. Place can get busy.

Pretty good and I can imagine they're even better in a restaurant setting. The portions were pretty small for $15. The noodles come unmixed which is fine but they were all firmly stuck together. Service is friendly and it may take a little more time than other options in the food court.

I was killing time in Valley Fair and have always heard about Ox 9 Lanzhou Handpulled Noodles and loved they had a location in a mall food-court! I ordered the Lanzhou Handpulled Noodles Soup with the medium round noodles. The noodles and meat both tasted very fresh, and I loved adding the chili oil to the broth. There weren't that many people in line when I went, so my food came out very fast. I wish my area had malls with food courts as good as Valley Fair!

This one for item 2: beef noodle with pickle noodles. The beef cubes are tender and there are up to 10 pieces. value for money. It is better than Din Tai Fung's. DTF's beef is difficult to chew most if the time It is in the food court.

Impromptu visit while at the mall on a holiday weekend and every restaurant was packed. Saw this spot and immediately went all in. Yes to labeled vegetarian options! I got the marinated cucumber salad and the chili oil dry noodles. The salad was good, looked like they had prepackaged then earlier so it wasn't 100% fresh but still crunchy and tasty. The chili oil noodles had me literally dancing in my chair. These were made to order, but the wait wasn't too long. You can taste the difference in the noodles when you're literally watching the chef hand-pulling them in the kitchen. The chili oil was on point, flavor but not overpowering spice. The bok choy was a perfect addition for a bit of brightness. Now I want to go to the sit-down eatery and try more things.

Seems to be a fairly new spot at Valley Fair food court. There are four types of noodles you can get-- round small, round large, flat small and flat large. When you order the entree they ask which noodle you want. I had the braised beef stew with the large flat noodles. The noodles are like flat yellow ribbon, and very fresh tasting. The soup is a beautiful presentation with thick chunks of beef and whole baby book choy. The broth is not spicy but is flavorful because of the rich beef and vegetable. It is quite delicious overall. The portion is hearty but not overwhelming. Nearby are marble tables to sit at, or sit outside and enjoy the view of the mountains and city.

It's my first time to try this and I gave to say, it was AMAZING. I chose the simple option #1, beef noodle with the thinner wide noodle option (there are several choices). The biting is clear and has a slight spicy kick to it -- not too spicy but enough to keep you slurping for more. It for come with cilantro, so if you don't like that herb, make sure to ask for them to hold. Noodles were perfect, soft and chewy. Portion is decent and enough to fill you up. The portion of beef slices, however, was on the lighter side so if you need more, ask for the extra meat option. OX 9 is a great option if you're tired of the usual pho/udon/ramen menus. Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.

I believe that this is one of the better options available at Valleyfair's food court. During my visit, I decided to try the wide chili oil noodles combo with popcorn chicken and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it tasted. The noodles had the perfect texture and the chili oil coating had an excellent sesame flavor that I enjoyed. It was also great to see the chef making the noodles in the back. However, the popcorn chicken was a little on the dry side and didn't come with any sauce, but overall I was still satisfied with my meal. The cashier at the food court was very friendly and our food arrived quickly. I appreciate how Valleyfair is adding more unique dining options that allow visitors to explore different foods and cultures while at the mall.

The texture of the wide noodles itself was pretty good - I liked it. Portion size was very small though - Not sure if that is because this location is from a food court, but I was still hungry after I finished. I've seen photos of their food (for other locations), and those look way bigger. The amount of food I got here was just barely over half of the bowl itself. There's no meat in their chili oil noodle, but I do like the amount of veggies they give. Although, it felt like there were more veggies than noodles. The noodles were also all stuck together at the bottom even though I ate it immediately in the food court. Overall, their food is not bad, but there are many other better options in this mall (for about the same price). It would also be great if they had an option for us to make it more spicy.

It tasted OK but I wasn't impressed with the quantity and its value. Expensive for the barely-there contents which consisted small amount of noodle, a few pieces of veggies and beef meats. It was so meager that I had to add additional fried chicken to eat with. What a rip-off. Not coming back.

ordering was quick and easy! we had a friendly cashier and i appreciated that he asked what noodle thickness we would've liked. also, it's pretty cool that you can see the noodles being hand-pulled through the kitchen window! to second everyone else, the menu text is very small. you need to be at the register for it to be legible. thankfully, i usually use yelp to look at menus no matter where i am lol. i had the #5 - i typically love chili oil noodles so thought i'd give it a try here. unfortunately, they weren't anything special. they weren't very spicy nor did they have much flavor.
