Loud music. Much too cold and air blowing on tables. Mediocre food. Mediocre service. Average portion size. Prices you would find at a good restaurant.

my husband left a review last fall concerning closing early, not sure why it is appropriate to lock the doors and close up A HALF AN HOUR BEFORE CLOSING. what then, is the point of saying you close at 9p but lock the doors at 8.30p? you have failed us twice now. there will not be a third time. we will not be back

It's an unpretentious diner, very cozy, with a nice atmosphere, situated conveniently just off the 14th freeway. It's a clean place, not overcrowded even on a Saturday around noon. Their personnel is very friendly. The service was prompt and not intrusive. Everyone in our party of four enjoyed the food and drinks. The parking was plentiful and free by the diner. Great experience.

WOW! Was here 3 days ago and today took some friends along. I tried the Black Bear Breakfast with 2 eggs, ham steak and a Belgian waffle. The picture doesn't do justice with how big this plate is. In these times of affordability issues, am glad I don't have to worry about preparing any meals for the rest of the day.

It's hit or miss with the service. Sometimes they get super busy and can't keep up. So if your in a hurry it makes it hard. But, I go there because the food is good. I won't be surprised by anything. The same meal will always be the same. Always good.
