I went for many years, lived on first ave long ago. This is one of my favorite burger places of all time. Still get cravings even tho I no longer live in Santa Cruz. They once had a jalapeno burger years ago and it was one of the best things ever. Hope you guys keep going

The Original!! And the music, décor, & overall vibe all add to the ambience, & that adds to the flavor. Betty doesn’t miss with her offerings! The Duke, a Hawai’ian style burger with bacon & pineapple—a hit! The Point Grinder, with bacon, mushrooms, & blue cheese—so good! Excellent fries too, but we go for the sweet potato fries every time. Friendly staff, quick service. A Santa Cruz MUST!!

So, this is a fun place. Double entendres on menu that are kid-safe. Great burgers and you can get any with a veggie patty. The garlic fries are amazing.
