Customizing it on their touchscreen? Effortless. I felt like a sleep-deprived burger scientist building a masterpiece. Even with the lunch crowd, the vibe was chill, and the wait was short. And then… BOOM. First bite? Life. Changed.
And yes, the water was absurdly good. Ice cold. Crisp. Like it had been blessed by mountain monks. I half expected a wise old trout to rise from the cup and hand me a prophecy.

I used the drive-thru, so atmosphere was perfect (in my car! Lol.) service was very nice, nice cashier, too. I went in especially for those new crisp wraps, honey mustard, and was not disappointed! Very good, quick (I was between appts.) and it was delicious ?. Definitely going to try the other 2 flavors, and maybe I'll be so bold as to suggest a couple new flavors!
Parking: I've never seen it full. That's always a plus!
Kid-friendliness: Burger King means your kids can "have it their way," So can everyone, it's in their song.
Wheelchair accessibility: Isn't it a law that all businesses in the state of California must have access to enter & exit for handicapped people?
This location, part of the city, is very populated with homeless people and trash that they collect and leave around. I was at Urgent Care for most of the day and hadn't eaten all day. So I stopped to get my almost favorite burger! The food was very good, and I went through the drive-through, so I didn't see the inside. The parking lot was very empty, and I actually thought they were closed.

The Chicken Sandwich I ordered was a bit salty yet not seasoned with enough of a spice blend.. Still delicious; Relative to KFC or local eateries in Santa Cruz, i.e. Mad Yolks. I love their speedy mentality and attention to detail with Students, Elders and Older Adults in mind. Their manner of service has enabled me to understand how much potential we can achieve with the best dishes in mind.

I came to pick up an order and asked for bbq sauce. The guy working named Alex looked at me like I was asking for the combination for the safe. He asked bbq sauce? For what?? I said for the customer who asked for it. He looked back and had to get verification from another worker in order to give me the bbq sauce. It felt awkward, and they didn't treat me like I ruled... Please learn customer service and be courteous to customers.
Soda tastes like chlorine, food was as expected. These companies really need to pay attention to the quality of water used in their drinks, this is far from the only local fast food restaurant with this type of problem. Disappointing to order the 1 soda a month I allow myself, only to have the water ruin it.

It's a fast food place, so the food is exactly what you'll get at any other burger king. But what you won't get is a roomy, comfortable place to eat. Typical guests are homeless, rude and annoying, but the staff is great. Use the drive thru before the city removes them all.
