Nice little spot off the 1 a little bit but inexpensive and homemade food with nice service. Simple but very good options for gluten free/ DF etc. Surprisingly hard to find more of these in California.
So now the shop is near the Great Dipper roller coaster end of the boardwalk and isn't on a cart but a proper shop front on the beach side. Got a mocha with cream and it was pretty nice.

The Beach Street Cafe is a laid back breakfast/lunch spot with good food. The portions are too big for me or my daughter to finish, although my husband does pretty well! :) The crab omelet is the perfect Santa Cruz breakfast! Yum!
