The Crow's Nest Restaurant is a popular spot in Santa Cruz, known for its beautiful water views and entertaining evening activities such as live bands and comedy shows. While it can be a bit pricey, with salmon salads priced around $30, the food is generally regarded as good. The Chargrilled Ahi Brochette and Crab Cake appetizer are particularly recommended. The restaurant caters to an elderly crowd and is wheelchair accessible, with an elevator available. However, the service quality can vary, as some servers may not be as attentive as expected.
The restaurant offers a range of delicious dishes, including the Prime Rib and the Shrimp Artichoke appetizer, which are highly recommended. The Crab Cakes are also a popular choice, although they may be considered pricey for the portion size. The restaurant has both a casual dining area upstairs and a more formal dining room downstairs, providing options for various occasions.
The Crow's Nest Restaurant has received positive reviews from customers, who have praised the delicious food, friendly waitstaff, and overall amazing experience, particularly during a recent anniversary brunch. The only criticism seems to be regarding the quality of the baked potato and the banana chocolate bread pudding, which were reported to be dry and not up to par with the rest of the menu.
