We were visiting from Arizona and had been wanting some Mediterranean food (not available in our community at home) so gave Falafel Of Santa Cruz a try. We ordered a falafel plate and a gyros plate. They both came with fresh pita bread. The falafels were nice and crispy and the gyros was cut into small chunks but nicely cooked and tasted good. The vegetables and lettuce were fresh and the yogurt topping combined nicely to make both very good meals for a fast food takeout. They even threw in two free baklavas for our wait. Flaky and delicious! All in all two generous and tasty meals for a little over $30.
The loaded fries and gyro sandwich were good. The lamb kabab was uncooked but can be improved.
