Such an odd location for a great chocolate shop. The aesthetics of the storefront are unremarkable. The presentation/merchandising of the products are far more focused on function over form. This is an unpretentious, high-end product that I'd happily purchase as a gift, or a treat for myself. Parking situation is pretty odd (through an alley and behind the store), and there's no street parking. I heard about Donnelly Chocolate chefs and their story somewhere on the internet, and I was like, how come I have never been there in the 12 years going up and down to and fro Santa Cruz? I asked chocolate partner in crime with me to try the world’s best chocolate shop. Could they be better than Hagen Daaz? We love and enjoy chocolate, and we just wondered, how good could it be?
