If you know, you know! It is hands-down the best—and totally worth the wait, even when the line is out the door (which is often). I’ve been coming here my whole life, and it never disappoints. A true local gem that always hits the spot.
Stop here for lunch when in the area. Its a hit or miss here. The sandwhich's are only as good as the staff who makes them. But there is no way of knowing until you recieve it.
Customer service is good. Staff is friendly. The quality of sandwhich varies. Overpriced in my opinion. Unless they make it right. Today was not good quality. Not worth it. Altho last time my sandwhich was great!

Two words..... Hot pastrami. Deli is open from 7am to 4pm weekdays and 8 am to 4 pm sat. Closed sunday. You can still get premade sandwiches after hours but made fresh is best. Also amazing deviled eggs. Best sandwich in Santa Cruz.
