The View at Chaminade offers an outstanding new menu with dishes like Wonton tacos and Morrel mushrooms on Scallops. The drinks are great too, including the excellent Manhattans. The restaurant could improve the ambience by adding more music. The views are wonderful, overlooking the Monterey Bay, creating a calming environment. The restaurant has comfortable seating options where guests can enjoy the serene view. The service is friendly and helpful, with staff being very accommodating. The food, such as the beet salad, prime rib, and baby back ribs, is excellent and many customers find the menu delicious. The restaurant also caters to dogs with their own menu, which adds to its welcoming atmosphere. Outside seating on the patio provides a lovely space with some shade, so guests can sit in the sun or shade as they prefer. The restaurant has space for groups and offers a great experience. Overall, The View has improved and is worth another visit.
