We called before we walk in since they are closing soon. They told us it is ok to come and once we walked in, the server told us we are closing in 30min. I asked if we can still order, and he said yes. Then we sit down with our 3 year old, super hungry, and the server come told us they only have curry, nothing else, well, can you tell us on the phone earlier or when we just walked in? Totally wast of time!

I visited this Namaste location recently and had a good meal.
The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the servers are friendly and attentive.
We had the khadai bindi, a flavorful dish with okra. The okra was lightly charred which gave it a delicious texture and flavor. It was slightly salty for my taste but I enjoyed it.
We also had the adrak ki aloo gobi, a dish with cauliflower and potatoes. This one was spicier but good.
Vegan items are clearly marked on the menu.

FINALLY, an excellent Indian restaurant in Santa Cruz! Went there with two of our best friends. We each ordered a dish and shared them all, plus a selection of appetizers. Everything was soooo richly flavored, so good.
Comprehensive menu and delicious food! We tried the Salmon tandoori and the lamb tandoori. Both were excellent. The seasonings were, IMO, done perfectly. The salmon was spicy, but not too hot, and light enough to not dominate the salmon flavors. It was juicy and not overcooked. The lamb had a savory combination of herbs and, again, it did not dominate the lamb.Vegetarian options: Many vegan dishes as well.

Always outstanding! My daughter who is a student at UC Santa Cruz and I go often. We just love this place - it has the most excellent Indian food! Favorites of ours that we tend to always order: PROWN PERI PERI (garlic prawns with incredible sauces), GOBI MUNCHURIAN (crisped cauliflower), (ANY) BIRYANI (incredible saffron basmati rice dish), BUTTER CHICKEN, and of course, the PESTO CILANTRO NAAN bread to go with it all.
