FINALLY, an excellent Indian restaurant in Santa Cruz! Went there with two of our best friends. We each ordered a dish and shared them all, plus a selection of appetizers. Everything was soooo richly flavored, so good.
Comprehensive menu and delicious food! We tried the Salmon tandoori and the lamb tandoori. Both were excellent. The seasonings were, IMO, done perfectly. The salmon was spicy, but not too hot, and light enough to not dominate the salmon flavors. It was juicy and not overcooked. The lamb had a savory combination of herbs and, again, it did not dominate the lamb.Vegetarian options: Many vegan dishes as well.

I visited this Namaste location recently and had a good meal. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the servers are friendly and attentive. We had the khadai bindi, a flavorful dish with okra. The okra was lightly charred which gave it a delicious texture and flavor. It was slightly salty for my taste but I enjoyed it. We also had the adrak ki aloo gobi, a dish with cauliflower and potatoes. This one was spicier but good. Vegan items are clearly marked on the menu.
