Nicole was phenomenal. She offered great recommendations, poured with precision, and kept the energy upbeat all night. The food hit the mark, the music was on point, and the whole place felt tuned for a great time. Everything was excellent — Nicole made it even better.

Visited to Santa Cruz for my birthday with my family. We decided to try Rosie’s for dinner and had a blast time! Food and service were spectacular. My lamb stew was chef’s kiss 🤌🏼

930 on a Friday and we’re not allowed to sit down unless we order food? There’s 12 people here. What kind of pub is this. Won’t be back

Had a great experience here, great staff, great bartender, great times
Rosie's has been one of my favorite spots since they opened and the food is always delicious. Last night was no exception with my discovery of their polenta side dish and their pesto fries! Magnificent.

My best friend was visiting from out of town, and I’m glad we chose this place for dinner. We had an incredible New York steak dinner at an amazing price. To top it off, we got the best seats in the house with a stunning view overlooking the street.
As we were leaving, the DJ was getting ready for the Saturday night crowd. It’s a popular spot for beautiful girls to dance, and there’s a five-dollar cover fee. However, we were stamped on our wrists on the way out, so we got to come back for free.

I've lived in Santa Cruz for two decades and have never been to Rosie's! It was a pleasant surprise. Big large open room, up a very large set of stairs (I don't know if they have an elevator in the back??). The weight staff was very friendly. We had burgers and french fries and sweet potato fries. Everything was cooked as requested and pretty good - your typical bar food.
They could use one or two bottles of red wine on the menu that are an upgrade for those who don't drink beer. My mom was with me and she was a little disappointed in the wine menu.
The waiter said that there's Celtic music on the first and third Thursdays and I'm looking forward to going back for that.
I'm glad I finally made it to Rosie's and I'll be back.
It was very empty at this lunch hour but I know on Halloween night there was a line down the stairs and out to the street. I can imagine this place is also really hopping on big game days.

We ate here yesterday. We hesitated at first because the stairwell wasn’t very inviting. It looked similar to something in our hometown that leads to a bar that is dark and smelly. So glad we made it past the stairs. The upstairs is beautifully lit with green accented chandeliers. The staff was excellent. Everyone we talked with was welcoming and the food came out surprisingly fast. The food was excellent. Glad we chose a table by the windows. It was a great spot to watch the world go by, including a parade of bicycles. Highly recommend and we would go back.

Solid pub with a varied menu. All the normal solid pub dishes and some great healthy options. I also enjoyed the brunch.

For a pub that serves food, this is as good as it gets. I've been to lots of pubs in Ireland and Scotland and Rosie's is right there with the best of them. And like all the good pubs, they have Sessions where musicians show up to play Celtic music, usually on Thursday nights. There are some great players that show up, including some that are world renowned. The food menu has great variety and there is something there for every pallette. And the food is well prepared. Appropriately, the bar has a great selection of liquors, ales and ciders, with some if the best locally brewed beers and ales on tap.

Stopped in for a few drinks as the pub was transitioning into their evening setup (nightclub vibe with a DJ). I was looking for a quiet pub but it was getting late on a Saturday night so I really can’t complain about that. Unfortunately they remove the bar stools for standing room only, again understandable.
Our bartender was Aaron and he was fantastic. Great drinks, friendly conversation. He’s a gem. I think I’d really like this place if I came in earlier in the day, looks like a cool place to grab a stool and hunker down.
